Melania joins Donald Trump’s campaign trail

As former US president Donald Trump is facing a huge battle to reenter the Oval Office after his abrupt departure in 2021, former first lady Melania Trump has decided to campaign for her husband against Democrat Joe Biden.

However, a report by Metro UK indicated that Melania Trump would not be alongside Republican Donald Trump. According to the report, the 53-year-old former model is going to hold her first political event — Log Cabin Republicans’ fundraiser — for her husband on April 20 at Mar-a-Lago.

It is this event that would commence the drive to secure the swing states under the Road to Victory Programme.

The third wife of former president Trump has been absent from the public eye such as campaign rallies, events, and court appearances of her husband.

She was briefly spotted on her mother’s death in January. The former first lady dropped some clues in mid-March as she was casting her ballot for her husband, saying “Stay tuned.”

Melania was nowhere to be seen when Trump commenced his campaign in November 2022. She was not present when her husband was indicted for the first time in March last year. The 77-year-old Trump told NBC News last year that her wife would be joining the campaign “pretty soon.”

“She’s a private person, a great person, a very confident person, and she loves our country very much,” Trump said adding “and honestly, I like to keep her away from it. It’s so nasty and so mean.
