Michael Magz Arrested for Refusing to Pay InDrive Fare
Popular musician Michael Magz was arrested in Harare after he and his friends refused to pay their InDrive fare.
It seems Michael Magz is following in the footsteps of his controversial former Samanyanga Records boss and mentor, Holy Ten. Magz, however, took things a step further after he was arrested after allegedly refusing to pay the fare after being transported by an InDrive service.
Magz and Friends Allegedly Harassed Driver
Things got worse when, instead of settling the fare, Magz reportedly demanded change from the driver. According to reports, Magz and his two friends then grabbed the driver’s car keys and caused a scene, boldly telling him to “go report wherever you want.”
The driver went straight to the police and opened a case, leading to the arrest of Magz and his friends. They were detained for three days before appearing in court on Thursday. In the end, the case was dropped after their families intervened, apologised, and begged the driver to forgive them.
