Passion Java Withdraws Cyberbullying Charges Against Socialite Malloti

Flamboyant religious figure Passion Java has dropped cyber harassment allegations against pregnant social media influencer Millicent Tsitsi Chimonyo, widely known as Malloti.

The high-profile dispute took a dramatic turn when authorities detained the expectant socialite on Tuesday following Java’s complaint. Malloti spent two nights at Machipisa Police Station before learning the charges had been unexpectedly withdrawn on her scheduled court appearance date.

Health Concerns Amid Legal Battle

Legal representative Dumisani Mthombeni revealed concerning details about his client’s condition during detention:

“My client wasn’t initially informed about the arrest reasons and only learned about the cyberbullying allegations later. Given her advanced pregnancy with existing complications requiring imminent induced delivery, this situation posed serious health risks.”

Controversial Figures Collide

The clash brings together two of Zimbabwe’s most controversial public personalities. Java, known for his luxurious displays of wealth and political affiliations, frequently makes headlines for his unconventional ministry methods and celebrity feuds.

Malloti has cultivated her reputation through a bold social media presence, frequently engaging in public disputes while amassing both devoted followers and vocal critics. The socialite’s unfiltered online comments has previously sparked accusations of digital harassment, though she typically dismisses such claims as harmless exchanges.

She has exchanged words online with her ex-boyfriend Hwinza, socialites like King Solomon and many others. Malloti is a well-known figure who also has a public criminal history.

Ongoing Public Scrutiny

This case follows after the recent case by Mudiwa Hood against Holy Ten and D Ollah 7. Zimbabweans, especially public figures, are taking cyberbullying cases seriously. Zimbabweans, however, noted the timing, particularly given Malloti’s vulnerable condition, as she is heavily pregnant during detention. Many are hoping that this case will serve as a warning to the socialite.
