Three bodies of Zimbabwean men were discovered floating in the Mpumalanga river in South Africa.

Authorities in Elukwatini, Mpumalanga, have initiated a formal investigation following the recovery of three bodies from the Nkomazi River. The deceased, confirmed to be Zimbabwean nationals, were discovered by South African Police Service (SAPS) dive units within a local game reserve this past Friday.

Missing Persons Report Leads To The Gruesome Discovery

The investigation was triggered after concerned individuals, who had been residing with the men, filed a missing persons report. They stated the trio had announced their intention to visit the game reserve but subsequently failed to return home, raising immediate alarm.

Brigadier Donald Mdhluli, a provincial police spokesperson, confirmed that the retrieved bodies showed no obvious signs of physical trauma or injury. Game Reserve Staff Site Unauthorised Entry As Persisting Problem

Upon arriving at the scene, police officers were informed by game reserve officials that unauthorised entry into the premises by individuals is a recurring issue.
