“We’ve Lost Everything Except Our Lives”: Holy Ten Pleads For Donations In US$35 000 GoFundMe Appeal

Holy Ten launches US$35 000 GoFundMe – appeals for donations after accusing Mnangagwa twins

Controversial rapper Holy Ten has launched a GoFundMe campaign seeking US$35 000 (R643 000), claiming he has “lost everything except our lives,” just days after publicly accusing President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s twin sons Sean and Collins of taking back gifts they had given him.

The artist, real name Mukudzeyi Chitsama, posted an emotional appeal late on 9 September 2025, pleading with fans and sympathisers for help.

Holy Ten’s desperate appeal

On X, Holy Ten wrote:

“We’ve lost EVERYTHING except our lives. Every donation, no matter how small, makes a real difference for us right now.”

He linked his GoFundMe page, titled Ndaremerwa, which carries a personal note.

“I have lost everything but I still have these sons to take care of. I still have you. HELP.”

At the time of publishing, more than eight hours after its launch, not a single cent had been donated towards the US$35 000 target.

The fundraiser comes in the wake of an extraordinary meltdown earlier in the week, when Holy Ten posted a flurry of messages aimed at the Mnangagwa family.

Explosive rants and sudden apology

On the night of 7 September 2025, Holy Ten posted a series of furious Instagram messages accusing Sean and Collins Mnangagwa of betrayal.

At 9:08 PM, he wrote:

“Sean, Collins, should’ve never given me your gifts if you knew you could take them back.”

By 9:24 PM, he escalated the attack, declaring:

“It’s not fear. It’s respect. Zanu PF don’t try me.”

Just minutes later, he turned to his wife Kimberly Richards, instructing her to pack.

“Pack all our things. We’re giving them back their house. Zvekunamata vanhu inini no (I will not bow down and pray to people).”

In another post, he added:

“I been working so HARD to clean up ED’s name and you people think they can just touch me??? I want my respect!!!”

By 10:25 PM, the situation reached its peak. In a widely shared video, he proclaimed:

“Inini I can end the Zanu PF today.”

He directly addressed Sean Mnangagwa, saying:

“Sean, what you did at my house, I’m coming to your house. Make sure you kill me. I’m not afraid of Zanu PF, all of you. I’m not afraid of you. Stop what you are doing.”

Then he mocked Collins Mnangagwa:

“Collins thinks he is loved by the people, let him start a ‘live’ right now, let’s see how many people join. Do not mess with me.”

The tirade ended with a chilling warning:

“I know where Collins lives, don’t worry. We are fixing the country, they shouldn’t mess with me. I’m not Blessed Geza.”

But just over an hour later, everything changed. At 10:53 PM, Holy Ten re-emerged with a short statement:

“Apologies to my brothers Sean & Collins.”

The sudden apology, reported by on 8 September 2025, left many confused and shocked.

Social media reaction to fundraiser

His plea for funds has sparked a wave of criticism and disbelief, especially after reports showed that not a single donation had been made more than eight hours after the campaign went live.

One X user, @elviddo23j, dismissed it outright:

“Scam alert 🚨⚠.”

Holy Ten insisted it was genuine, replying:

“It’s really me. Ask me something ONLY I would know.”

Another critic, @Chirega_kudaro, questioned why fans should help him:

“Nigga what makes you think we gonna donate anything to your crazy ass, go to Matrix first.”

Others reminded him of his past alignment with Zanu PF. @ChikukwaEdmore wrote:

“But you once said munangagwa hoyooooooo. Now you want sympathy really, you are some of people who delay Zimbabwe freedom because of free bees.”

@alois_tinotenda added:

“Hatina mari unoti toiwanepi (We don’t have money, where do you expect us to get it?).”

Several demanded proof via a live stream. @GMugwadi95239 urged:

“Ita live tokupaiii broo (Go live so we can see and then we will help you).”

But others simply rejected the appeal. @bandz_zw posted:

“No!”

And @Sparkeywacho dismissed it as “Pakubhaizika” (nonsense).

Despite a few sympathetic voices, the overwhelming response remained sceptical, with many pointing to the zero donations as a sign of public mistrust.
