Zinara has extended a lifeline to all motorist with arrears on their penalties during this Harare agricultural show week.

The Zimbabwe National Road Administration (Zinara) has announced a series of promotional discounts. This initiative, launched during the ongoing Zimbabwe Agricultural Show, offers substantial financial relief to motorists struggling with outstanding fees.

A central part of the new program is a 50 percent reduction on accumulated penalty charges for drivers with existing arrears. This one-time discount provides a crucial opportunity for individuals to settle their debts at a significantly reduced cost and return to compliance with national road regulations.

Demonstrating a commitment to social responsibility, Zinara has implemented a 100% waiver of all penalties for senior citizen drivers. This measure ensures that elderly motorists can regularise their vehicle licenses without any financial burden, making the process free and accessible.

Recognising that many vehicle owners face complex financial situations, Zinara has introduced structured payment options. Specifically tailored for those with deregistered vehicles, these plans will be available at Zinara licensing offices throughout the duration of the agricultural show. This flexibility allows motorists to re-enter the licensing system through manageable, scheduled payments.

Nationwide Access for Enhanced Convenience

To ensure widespread access and prevent overcrowding at its show pavilion, Zinara has decentralised the promotion. The penalty discounts are available through the administration’s extensive countrywide network of authorised agents, bringing convenience to motorists in all regions.
