Horror In Kadoma As 39-Year-Old Man Is Mauled To Death By Dogs
A 39-year-old man was mauled to death by dogs at an open ground near Plot 104 in Sabonabona, Eiffel Flats, Kadoma, on Saturday, 22 August 2026, the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has confirmed.
The incident reportedly happened at around 7 pm. Police said the man’s body was later discovered at the scene with multiple dog-bite injuries.
Dogs Attack Man At Kadoma Open Ground
The ZRP said investigations are underway to establish the circumstances surrounding the fatal attack.
In a statement issued on Monday, 24 August 2026, police said:
“The ZRP is investigating a case in which a 39-year-old man was mauled to death by dogs at an open ground near Plot 104, Sabonabona, Eiffel Flats, Kadoma on 22/08/26 at around 1900 hours.”
Police said the victim’s clothes had been torn apart during the attack. His body was found naked at the scene.
The circumstances leading to the man being at the open ground and the events immediately before the attack have not been disclosed by police.
ZRP Warns Dog Owners After Fatal Attack
The ZRP has urged dog owners to ensure their animals are properly secured.
Police also reminded owners to comply with local authority by-laws governing the keeping and control of dogs.
The investigation remains ongoing as authorities work to establish the full circumstances surrounding the death.
