Amakhosi wall: Kaizer Chiefs eye two new defenders

Kaizer Chiefs want to strengthen their defence ahead of the new season. They have identified two proven Betway Premiership defenders as top targets.

The club aims to improve stability at the back. Therefore, management is actively exploring transfer options

Chiefs Target Ndlovu and Moloisane

According to Siseko Gwegwe, via Innocent Khabz on X, Chiefs are targeting Bright Ndlovu and Thabo Moloisane. Ndlovu currently plays for Sekhukhune United after joining in 2024. Meanwhile, Moloisane remains a key player at Stellenbosch FC.

He has delivered consistent performances and remains a regular starter. As a result, Chiefs have tracked him for a long time.

Additionally, reports suggest Inacio Miguel could extend his contract soon. This move would further strengthen Chiefs’ defensive options.

Nkota Interest Adds Twist to Transfer Plans

Meanwhile, Kaizer Chiefs have shown interest in winger Mohao Nkota. Soccer Laduma reports that his future has taken a new turn.

Initially, Al Ettifaq wanted to loan Nkota back to Orlando Pirates. However, the Saudi club has now reconsidered that decision.

Nkota struggled during the 2025–26 Saudi Pro League season. He scored two goals and added three assists in 17 matches.

At the same time, uncertainty surrounds Khanyisa Mayo’s loan future. There are also mixed reports about Nkosingiphile Ngcobo’s long-term role.
