The Zimbabwe School Examinations Council announced a mop-up registration window on Monday, 30 March.
The window covers 2026 Ordinary Level and Advanced Level November exams. It will run until 22 May 2026.
Purpose of the Mop-Up Period
ZIMSEC said this period targets candidates who missed the 27 March deadline. It also helps candidates regularise subject entries under Ministry policy.
Furthermore, the council clarified that no further extensions will follow. Anyone who misses the 22 May deadline must wait until June 2027.
Government Extends Payment Deadline
Last week, Torerayi Moyo announced a fee payment extension.
He extended the deadline from 27 March to 22 May 2026.
He spoke during a National Assembly Question and Answer session on 25 March.
Moyo said the extension allows parents more time to raise fees.
