Convicted murderer Ngagalela Kekana will be sentenced on 14 October. Kekana was found guilty of the premeditated murder of his 37-year-old girlfriend, Realeboga Joels.
It is understood that Kekana left his girlfriend’s home after they had an argument, only for the landlord and neighbours to discover her lifeless body on the bed.
The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA)’s Lumka Mahanjana: “In court, Kekana pleaded not guilty to the charge preferred against him and denied committing the offence, however, the State was able to prove its case beyond a reasonable doubt, and the case has been postponed to 14 October 2024, for sentence proceedings.”
