Elon Musk Faces Backlash Over Controversial Comments Following Second Trump Assassination Attempt
Elon Musk has ignited a firestorm on social media after remarking that there have been no assassination attempts on President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, who is also the Democratic presidential candidate.
Musk’s comments came in the wake of a second assassination attempt on Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.

Trump Targeted in Second Assassination Attempt
The incident occurred while Trump was playing golf at the Trump International Golf Course in West Palm Beach, Florida. He was tackled to the ground by security after gunshots were heard nearby
.It is not yet known whether the suspect fired first, fired a round at all, or if only the Secret Service fired.
Agents patrolling the area spotted a rifle barrel poking through a fence, prompting immediate action.
The alleged gunman, identified as Ryan Wesley Routh, was arrested by police as he attempted to flee in his vehicle. Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw reported that Routh was approximately 300 to 500 yards from Trump when apprehended. He left behind an AK-47-style rifle equipped with a scope, which authorities noted could have put him within range of Trump.

Elon Musk Questions Why No One Is Targeting Biden and Kamala Harris
Following confirmation from the FBI that Trump was the target of what they described as an “apparent assassination attempt,” Musk took to X (formerly Twitter) to share his thoughts.
“And no one is even trying to assassinate Biden/Kamala 🤯,” he posted.
