Crash Impact Complicates Identification
Speaking to ZBC News, Herbert Chivayo, the condition of the remains has complicated efforts to establish the identities of all six victims.
Bodies and body parts are still at the crash site as the family waits for forensic experts to carry out the identification process.
The family has also raised concerns about the recovery of the remains, saying cultural practices require the remains of the victims to be kept separate during the process.
Remains Await Recovery
The family is therefore waiting for forensic personnel to assist with the recovery and formal identification of the victims before the remains can be taken from the scene.
