About the Role

As a Procurement Officer, you will report to the Cluster Administration and Procurement Coordinator and be responsible for executing the cluster’s procurement plan. You will play a central role in ensuring that procurement and disposal of assets and services are carried out efficiently, transparently, and in compliance with internal policies and donor requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support procurement planning and coordinate sourcing in line with organizational needs and timelines.

  • Administer procurement systems and ensure data accuracy and integrity.

  • Maintain compliance with Plan International’s procurement policies and relevant donor guidelines.

  • Collaborate with project teams to provide procurement support for program activities.

  • Monitor procurement-related risks and implement mitigation measures.

  • Uphold Plan International’s standards on safeguarding, gender equality, and inclusion.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.

  • At least three years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within the humanitarian or NGO sector.

  • Professional qualifications such as CIPS will be a distinct advantage.

  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes and regulations.

  • High levels of integrity, accountability, and commitment to ethical procurement practices.
