The uproar began when a social media user shared a photo revealing Boity’s perfumes that were originally priced at R595, then suddenly slashed to R60.

This sparked discussions and comments online. Many people expressed disappointment and questioned the quality of her products.

The 34-year-old responded to criticism on her Instagram account.

“Don’t be afraid to try. And never allow fear of failure to cripple you. The dream was placed in your heart for a purpose. It’ll eventually work out exactly the way it’s meant to. We’re still learning,” she wrote.

The multi-talented artist, who hails from Potchefstroom in North West received warm messages from celebrities applauding her for her achievement.

This is not the first time Boity launched a perfume brand.
