Three Regional Consultants to Support Youth-Led Enterprises

SNV Zimbabwe is inviting qualified professionals to apply for the position of Regional Youth-Led Enterprises Consultants (3 positions). This recruitment is part of Phase II of the Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship (YEE) Project, a collaborative initiative supported by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and the Embassy of Sweden.

The YEE Project targets out-of-school youth aged 18 to 35, aiming to improve their livelihoods through sustainable employment and entrepreneurship in the agri-food, renewable energy, and emerging sectors. In its second phase, the project is focusing on scaling up high-potential youth-led enterprises (YLEs) established during Phase I while nurturing new businesses with growth potential.

Position Overview

SNV is recruiting three Regional Youth-Led Enterprises Consultants to be based in Harare, Bulawayo, and Mutare. These consultants will provide targeted support to YLEs through:

Technical assistance and business development services
Market access facilitation and trade readiness support
Coaching and mentorship in enterprise growth
Support in accessing finance and investment readiness

Required Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agribusiness, Entrepreneurship, Economics, Agriculture, or a related field
Minimum 5 years’ experience supporting youth or MSMEs in enterprise development and market engagement
In-depth knowledge of market systems, business development services, and youth economic empowerment
Proven skills in coaching and mentoring youth entrepreneurs
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Willingness to travel across districts within the region (own mode of transport is required)
