The 1.85m striker made headlines in Southeast Asia in January 2023 when he scored five goals in a single match, leading Persik Kediri to a 5–2 win over Persikabo 1973.

Kaizer Chiefs sets eyes on new striker

Club director Jessica Motaung shared updates on the team’s transfer plans during a recent appearance at the Village. She praised the returning players’ commitment, saying, “It’s great to see the players back. They’ve maintained their fitness and seem focused and ready to face the challenges ahead.”

Motaung added that the club is actively working on new signings for the upcoming season. “The technical team and sporting department are closely collaborating to scout and secure the right players,” she said. “Hopefully, fans will get a glimpse of some new faces at the Toyota Cup and during pre-season.”

She also emphasised that the transfer window remains open for a while, allowing the club to remain flexible with its signings. “We’re not rushing. Our goal is to build a team that can reclaim our rightful place both in South Africa and on the African continent,” Motaung concluded.
