CAPS United Secures US$4.3 Million Sponsorship from Lesotho Bank
CAPS United has announced a major financial windfall after signing a US$4.3 million sponsorship agreement with Lesotho’s Green Dollar Development Bank.
The sponsorship deal, revealed in Harare on Friday, will run for three years starting January 2026 and is set to provide structured funding to support various aspects of the club’s operations.

Funding to Strengthen Players, Infrastructure, and Youth Development
According to club officials, the sponsorship will cover player welfare, infrastructure improvements, and overall club operations.
A significant portion of the funds will also be directed towards youth development programs, aiming to cultivate talent that can compete both locally and across Africa.
Stabilizing CAPS United’s Future
The Premier Soccer League side described the deal as a timely financial intervention. Officials say the partnership will help stabilize the club’s finances and reinforce its position as one of Zimbabwe’s leading football institutions.
Sponsor Eyes Expansion in Zimbabwe
For the Green Dollar Development Bank, the deal represents an opportunity to expand its presence in Zimbabwe. The bank intends to leverage the partnership with CAPS United to grow its brand and strengthen connections with local communities.
