Senior Zimbabwe National Army Officer Colonel Andrew Kabaira Dies at 64

Colonel Andrew Kabaira, a senior officer in the Zimbabwe National Army, has passed away at the age of 64. According to a statement from the army, Kabaira succumbed to a short illness on July 21 and died at the ZNA 2 Referral Hospital in Harare. He is survived by his wife and seven children.

Kabaira was a dedicated and loyal officer who served his country with distinction. He was promoted to the rank of Colonel in 2022 and served as the Harare District Garrison Commander until June 2024.
