Highlanders have confirmed the signing of winger Benjani Junior Mwaruwari, with the 21-year-old joining the Bulawayo giants after playing lower league football in the United Kingdom. The move, announced on 20 July 2026, also creates a unique father-and-son story as the youngster will now play under Highlanders head coach Benjani Mwaruwari.
Highlanders Confirm Benjani Junior Signing
Highlanders announced the deal in an official club statement, welcoming the winger to Bosso as they continue strengthening their squad during the transfer window.
The club said:
“Highlanders Football Club is pleased to welcome Benjani Junior Mwaruwari to the club. We are confident he will contribute positively towards the team’s objectives.”
