Bernard Parker has sparked speculation after sharing religious messages about lust, infidelity and unhappy marriages on Instagram.
The former Bafana Bafana and Kaizer Chiefs striker recently announced his separation from Kacha Stepanovic, his former partner and baby mama.
Parker, now coaching TS Galaxy, has not explained the timing or reasons behind his separation from his wife, Wendy Parker.
The couple married in 2012, although details surrounding their relationship remain largely private.
His latest social media activity has attracted attention following his public admission of personal struggles.
Bernard Parker Shares Messages About Lust and Marriage
Parker has reposted several faith-based Instagram Reels addressing temptation, relationships and marital difficulties.
One video discussed “the spirit of lust” and featured a preacher warning Christians about “sex with demons”.
Other posts urged men to resist temptation and avoid “bad women”.
Meanwhile, another preacher addressed the challenges of maintaining an unhappy relationship in a message titled: “What to do when your marriage is miserable”.
A separate religious message encouraged people to seek forgiveness from their families and partners after “destroying” a marriage.
Although Parker has not explained why he shared these messages, their timing has drawn attention following his separation announcement.
Bernard Parker Apologises to Kacha Stepanovic
On Monday, 12 October, Parker publicly acknowledged mistakes and personal struggles that affected his relationship with Stepanovic.
His statement appeared to take responsibility for the pain he caused during their time together.
He shared: “I want to be honest about my part in our journey. I have made mistakes and struggled with personal addictions that have affected my life and the people I love.
“Kacha, I’m truly sorry for the times I hurt you, let you down, and caused you pain. You gave me love, support, patience and kindness that I’ve never received before. I take responsibility for my mistakes, knowing that some things cannot simply be undone with an apology”
Stepanovic subsequently reposted Parker’s statement on her Instagram account.
She also shared a message addressing the consequences of lust, addiction and betrayal.
Her Instagram Story read: “Lust and addiction will strip you of your family, your work, your name and everything you built.
“If betrayal was so easy, the devil would be next seated at the throne. Make sure whatever you do is worth losing it all”.
Neither post provides a complete account of the circumstances surrounding their separation. However, their public messages have prompted fresh interest in the former couple’s relationship.
