Rachel Kolisi, former wife of Springbok captain Siya Kolisi, has opened up about life after divorce. The mother of two now balances several demanding roles. Meanwhile, she prepares for a national roadshow next month.
The tour will mark the screening of her documentary, Falling Forward. In addition, she will launch a memoir with the same title. Both projects highlight her rebuilding journey after personal loss. They also reveal her strength during transition.
Rachel Kolisi on Juggling Life
Recently, Rachel shared a candid Instagram post. She gave followers a glimpse into her daily reality. She posted photos of herself wearing different hats. The images symbolised her many responsibilities.
She wrote: “Building a business. Writing a book. Finishing a documentary. Doing everything from event planning to merch for 5 x upcoming events. Preparing for my biggest talk yet for @forbeswomanafrica. Raising humans. Keeping bills paid. Carrying it all. Some days it’s messy. Every day, I show up and do my best”.
She then added humorously: “Thank you, Jesus, for chuckles (the chocolates).”
Additionally, she shared powerful reflections: “You cannot break a woman who has carried family weight, money stress, career pressure, heartbreak, and betrayal and still choose to keep going.”
“People’s true colours come out when they don’t get what they want from you.”
“A person’s capacity for growth is directly linked to how much truth they can face about themselves without running away”.
Forbes and Falling Forward Take Centre Stage
In the coming months, Rachel will stay extremely busy. First, she will premiere Falling Forward. Next, she will host a national roadshow. Finally, she will release her memoir.
All these events will take place in March. Moreover, Rachel will speak at the Forbes Women Summit at the Sandton Convention Centre.
The philanthropist will address the audience as a women’s rights advocate. She will also speak as a social impact leader.
