The eThekwini Municipality needs billions of rand to upgrade its failing infrastructure in order to resolve the many problems plaguing the metro.
That’s according to mayor Mxolisi Kaunda.
He estimates that eThekwini will need around R130-billion to achieve this.
The mayor was speaking during a visit to water facilities, accompanied by Deputy President Paul Mashatile.
