Wicknell Chivayo’s Unpaid Car Bills: Enterprise Car Sales Owner Says 15 Vehicles Await Payment
Enterprise Car Sales owner Madzibaba Tendai Chipaga says approximately 15 vehicles supplied to the late businessman Wicknell Chivayo are yet to be paid for.
The revelation comes after sungura musician Taruvinga Manjokota, popularly known as Sugar Sugar, claimed he was asked to return a Toyota Fortuner gifted to him by Chivayo, raising questions about the status of vehicles distributed by the late businessman.
Chipaga has since dismissed claims that the musician was ordered to surrender the vehicle, saying the matter remains unresolved as the necessary estate processes are completed.

Madzibaba Chipaga Responds To Sugar Sugar’s Fortuner Claims
DJ Ollah contacted Chipaga to establish whether Sugar Sugar had been instructed to return the Fortuner.
According to Ollah, the Enterprise Car Sales owner denied that any demand had been made for the vehicle and suggested that someone might have taken advantage of the uncertainty surrounding Chivayo’s estate to frighten the musician.
In a statement shared by Ollah, he said:
“We’ve just contacted Madzibaba Tendai Chipaga the owner of Enterprise Car Sale, he denied allegations that Sugar Sugar was asked to bring back the vehicle since they’re waiting for the executor to finalize everything. He suspects someone took advantage of the situation and speculation to instill fear to Sugar Suga by lying to him. Mudododo hit maker should not worry for now.”
Enterprise Car Sales Among Dealerships Reportedly Owed Millions
The unpaid vehicles form part of wider claims surrounding Chivayo’s financial obligations to car dealerships following his death.
A report published by ZimLive on 20 October 2026 said three major Harare dealerships — Faramatsi Motors, Exquisite Cars and Enterprise Car Sales — were seeking to recover a combined US$5.1 million allegedly owed by the businessman.
According to the report, the outstanding amounts were distributed as follows:
- Faramatsi Motors: US$2.4 million.
- Exquisite Cars: US$1.4 million.
- Enterprise Car Sales: US$1.3 million.
The combined figure is approximately R83.76 million.
The report described an arrangement under which Chivayo could obtain vehicles from dealerships and settle the bills later, typically within three months.
