FC Platinum have added former Zimbabwe international Onismor Bhasera to their technical team.
The club has appointed the experienced defender as assistant coach.
Bhasera arrives with extensive experience from both playing and coaching.
He previously worked within the technical teams at South African Premiership clubs Siwelele FC and SuperSport United.
Meanwhile, his playing career took him across Zimbabwe, South Africa and England.
He also represented the Zimbabwe national team during his distinguished career.
Bhasera brings experience to FC Platinum
FC Platinum General Manager Collen Nikisi believes Bhasera will strengthen the coaching setup.
“His experience, leadership and understanding of the game will add valuable depth to our technical team as we continue to strengthen the club and build for the future,” Nikisi said.
Therefore, Bhasera will work alongside head coach Thabo Senong.
The technical team will focus on player development and squad improvement.
They will also aim to keep FC Platinum competing at the highest level.
Bhasera’s appointment comes after the departure of Reneilwe “Yeye” Letsholonyane.
FC Platinum thank Yeye Letsholonyane
Letsholonyane has left FC Platinum to become a head coach in Botswana.
His departure created a vacancy within Senong’s technical team.
Bhasera will now take over the assistant coaching responsibilities.
FC Platinum also praised Letsholonyane for his work during his time with the club.
“We thank Yeye for his contribution, professionalism and commitment during his time with FC Platinum and wish him every success in his new role,” said Nikisi.
The appointment gives Senong another experienced figure to work with.
Bhasera’s knowledge of Zimbabwean and South African football could also benefit the squad.
