Former RBZ Senior Adviser Munyaradzi Kereke Dies In Harare
Former Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) senior adviser and Bikita West legislator Dr Munyaradzi Kereke has died.
Kereke died early Tuesday morning at The Avenues Clinic in Harare, with his family confirming his death in a brief statement.

Family Confirms Death
The family said further information, including details surrounding the circumstances of his death, would be released in due course.
In a notice announcing his passing, the family said:
“It is with sadness that we announce the passing on of Dr Munyaradzi Kereke this morning at The Avenues Clinic. Funeral arrangements will be announced in due course.”
No cause of death has been disclosed at this stage.
From RBZ To Parliament
Kereke was previously part of the leadership and advisory circles at the RBZ, where he served as a senior strategic adviser to then-Governor Dr Gideon Gono.
He later moved into politics and won the Bikita West parliamentary seat in 2013.
His death marks the loss of a figure who had been involved in both Zimbabwe’s central banking sphere and national politics.
Funeral arrangements are expected to be announced by the family.
