HEXCO March 2026 Results Released
The Higher Education Examinations Council (HEXCO) has officially released the March 2026 Industrial Training and Trade Tests Theory Examination results, with authorities announcing a national pass rate of 75 percent.
In a press release issued by the Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education, Innovation, Science and Technology Development, Permanent Secretary Professor F. Tagwira confirmed that candidates can start accessing their results from their respective regions beginning Monday, 11 May 2026.
The announcement is expected to bring relief and excitement to thousands of students who sat for the examinations earlier this year across Zimbabwe.
HEXCO Announces 75 Percent Pass Rate
In the statement, Professor Tagwira thanked stakeholders who participated in the examination process and said their efforts contributed to the successful administration of the examinations.
He said:
“The Permanent Secretary for Higher and Tertiary Education, Innovation, Science and Technology Development, Professor F. Tagwira wishes to announce that the Higher Education Examinations Council (HEXCO) Industrial Training and Trade Test results for the March 2026 Examination Session have been released.”
The ministry also revealed that the national examinations recorded a 75 percent pass rate.
Professor Tagwira added:
“He wishes to thank all stakeholders involved in the national examination system. Their contribution towards the success of the examinations has resulted in the achievement of a 75% pass rate.”
Candidates Told When To Collect Results
Candidates have been advised to collect or access their results through their respective regional centres starting from Sunday, 11 May 2026.
The ministry said:
“All candidates are advised to access their results from their respective regions as from 11 May 2026.”
The release of HEXCO results is often closely followed by students seeking industrial certification and trade qualifications in various disciplines offered under Zimbabwe’s technical and vocational education system.
Some candidates and parents reportedly began making enquiries earlier this month over when the results would be made available. [I cannot verify this]
HEXCO examinations are administered under the Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education and are important for students pursuing technical and vocational career pathways.
Relief And Excitement Among Candidates
