Holy Ten Explosive Instagram Rant At Mnangagwa Twins Ends In Apology
Rapper Holy Ten, born Mukudzei Chitsama, stunned Zimbabweans on the night of Sunday, 7 September 2025, when he unleashed a furious outburst on Instagram. In a string of videos and posts, the 26-year-old accused President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s sons, Sean and Collins, of humiliating him by reclaiming gifts they had once given, including a house.
The musician, who campaigned openly for Zanu PF in the run-up to the 2023 elections, sounded agitated and defiant. At one point he directly addressed Sean Mnangagwa:
“Sean, what you did at my house, I’m coming to your house. Make sure you kill me. I’m not afraid of Zanu PF, all of you. I’m not afraid of you. Stop what you are doing.”
He then escalated further, declaring:
“I can end the Zanu PF today. I’m bigger than the Zanu PF.”
From ally to accuser
Holy Ten’s outburst marked a sharp turn from his earlier relationship with the ruling party. In 2023, at the height of election campaigning, the rapper became one of the most prominent youthful voices endorsing Zanu PF.
He performed at rallies, featured in campaign songs, and praised the leadership publicly. At the time, he positioned himself as a cultural ambassador for the party, saying he wanted to “inspire young people to follow leadership.” His endorsement drew criticism from some of his fan base, who accused him of “selling out.”
Despite the backlash, Holy Ten received visible support from Zanu PF figures. Reports circulated that he was rewarded with material benefits, including property and vehicles, as tokens of appreciation for his loyalty.
It was against this background that his Instagram tirade landed with such shock. The very gifts that had symbolised his closeness to the ruling elite were the ones he now claimed were being repossessed.
“Pack all our things. We’re giving them back their house,” he told his wife, Kimberly Richards, in one of the posts.
Mixing frustration with pride, he reminded his followers:
“I joined Zanu PF because I was trying to clean the reputation, the image of Zanu PF. What you did, boys, I can finish all of you off.”
Turning his anger towards Collins, he added:
“Collins thinks he is loved by the people, let him start a ‘live’ right now, let’s see how many people join. Do not mess with me.”
He even threatened to confront the brothers directly:
“I know where Collins lives, don’t worry. We are fixing the country, they shouldn’t mess with me. I’m not Blessed Geza.”
A dramatic reversal
The meltdown, which unfolded between 9 PM and 10:30 PM, triggered a wave of online commentary. Some followers mocked Holy Ten for what they saw as a dramatic U-turn, while others expressed genuine concern that his words could put him in danger.
Shortly afterwards, Holy Ten deactivated his Instagram account @holytenmusic, leaving fans confused. Hours later, he returned with a very different tone. In a short message, he appeared to backtrack completely:
“Apologies to my brothers Sean & Collins.”
The Mnangagwa family has remained silent on the allegations and the apology. But the night’s events have left many Zimbabweans questioning how the once-celebrated alliance between Holy Ten and the ruling family unravelled so suddenly and so publicly.
