Rachel Kolisi recently spoke about moving forward after her separation from Siya Kolisi. She shared her thoughts during an interview with Anele Mdoda on 947 Radio.
Rachel discussed her book and documentary Falling Forward during the conversation. She also spoke openly about life changes after leaving her job.
Rachel revealed that she needed permission and money for basic items. She mentioned things like pads, tampons, and shampoo. This happened after she stayed home to raise the children. She also confirmed she will keep the Kolisi surname.
Rachel Kolisi Explains What “Moving On” Means
Rachel believes healing does not always require another relationship. She explained that many social media users urge her to date again. However, she prefers focusing on personal growth and healing.
“I find it very funny, in some of the joyous comments that I received on social media over the last few months, people are like ‘just move on already, just move on like get with someone else.’ I find it so interesting that that’s what’s considered moving on,” she said.
“I’m good by myself. I don’t think I’ve ever been better by myself,” she continued.
“It’s my life, It’s my journey, whether or not I’m in the public eye, shouldn’t determine the work I do internally and how I am processing things,” she added.
She admitted she is still healing after the divorce. However, she feels stronger and more prepared for the future.
Siya Kolisi Linked to Influencer Rachel John
Meanwhile, Siya Kolisi has reportedly moved on. He is rumoured to be dating influencer Rachel John.
Fans first noticed the pair together in late 2025. They reportedly sat together during the ATP Tour Finals in Turin.
Later, Siya attended Rachel John’s birthday celebration in Jeffreys Bay. The rumours grew stronger earlier this year.
The pair also travelled to Victoria Falls for a holiday. Although they posted separate photos, a fan spotted them together. The fan saw them boarding a cruise on the Zambezi River.
In February, both were reportedly in Los Angeles and New York together. Siya and Rachel Kolisi married in 2016. They announced their separation in October 2024. The former couple share two children, Nicholas and Keziah.
