Man Killed, Three Injured in Bottle Store Stabbing Over Gospel Music Dispute
A night out turned deadly in Ruwa after a dispute over gospel music at a bottle store escalated into a violent stabbing, leaving one man dead and three others hospitalised.
The incident occurred on Thursday at Shooters Bottle Store in Solomio Park, shocking patrons who witnessed the sudden outbreak of violence.

Argument Over Music Sparks Chaos
Speaking to H-Metro, eyewitnesses revealed that tensions began when patrons complained about gospel songs being played continuously at the establishment, demanding a change in music.
Two men, identified as Trymore Ndebele (35) and his companion Peace Dube (25), had been controlling the music from a mobile phone. Following complaints, they reportedly disconnected their Bluetooth device and briefly left the premises.
However, upon returning, a confrontation broke out inside the bottle store, quickly drawing in several people.
Fatal Stabbing During Altercation
During the scuffle, Ndebele pulled out a knife and stabbed Tendai Mubiya (30) once on the neck.
Mubiya, who had been drinking and playing snooker at the time, collapsed following the attack.
Other individuals caught up in the violence were also injured. The bar owner, Luckmore Kazingizi (28), suffered a deep chest wound, while Collen Tomu (30) sustained a serious cut on the back.
Victims Hospitalised, Suspects Arrested
All the injured victims were rushed to Parirenyatwa Hospital for treatment, where Kazingizi and Tomu remain admitted.
Witnesses said patrons managed to overpower the suspects after the attack.
The matter was reported to the police, leading to Trymore and Peace arrest.
Police Yet to Issue Full Details
Authorities are expected to release further details as investigations continue into the circumstances surrounding the fatal altercation.
The incident has raised concern over rising cases of violence in social spaces, particularly involving the use of knives during disputes.
