Natalie “Enchantress” Mhandu Arrested For Witchcraft

Popular socialite and video vixen Natalie Mhandu, known online as Enchantress or Madame Stylist, found herself behind bars on Wednesday, 6 August, after being accused of practising witchcraft.

Natalie “Enchantress” Mhandu Arrested For Witchcraft

According to police, two women believed to be Natalie’s former friends filed a criminal complaint, claiming she used rituals to bewitch them. This came after the trio reportedly fell out over a boyfriend. The complaint was filed under Zimbabwe’s Section 98, which deals with allegations of witchcraft and wizardry.

Sources close to the investigation told H-Metro that Natalie was invited to Glen View Police Station for questioning. At first, rumours spread online that she had been locked up overnight, but police later confirmed she was released into the care of her lawyer due to the “less serious” nature of the charges.

If the case proceeds, all parties are expected to appear in court from their respective homes.

Fired Maid Reportedly Linked Her to Sangoma Rituals

The strange accusations reportedly began when Natalie dismissed her domestic worker. The fired maid allegedly contacted two of Natalie’s former friends, claiming the socialite had visited a sangoma from Mozambique to perform rituals meant to “fix” them after one of them took her boyfriend.

Things escalated when the ex-maid supposedly took the women to Pension Farm in Glen View, where they allegedly dug up a red cloth and a knife with their names written on them, items said to be part of the ritual.

As the drama unfolded, a phone call believed to be between Natalie and one of the women leaked online. In the recording, the voice believed to be Natalie’s strongly denied everything and claimed her former maid was making up stories to destroy her reputation.
