Nothabo Zandile Khumalo’s Family Breaks Silence After Another Twist In Ndodana Tshuma Case
The family of Nothabo Zandile Khumalo has broken its silence after another postponement in the legal proceedings involving Ndodana Tshuma. The firearm proceedings have been moved to 8 September, while the extradition hearing is now scheduled for 10 September 2026.
Tshuma appeared briefly at the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court on Thursday, 27 August 2026, as the proceedings continued in South Africa.
Ndodana Tshuma Case Gets New September Dates
According to eNCA, the 45-year-old British-Zimbabwean was arrested in Johannesburg after travelling from the United Kingdom.
He is facing proceedings linked to the alleged deaths of his wife, Nothabo Zandile, and their two daughters, Natalie and Nala.
The family acknowledged the latest postponement in a statement shared on 27 August.
“Following today’s hearing in South Africa, we note that the firearm proceedings have been postponed to the 8th September while the extradition hearing to the 10th September 2026.”
Family Says Delays Are Difficult
The Khumalo and Magonya families said they respected the South African judicial process despite their disappointment over the continued delays.
They said the postponements had extended their wait for answers about what happened to the three family members.
“At the same time, each postponement is difficult for our family, as it extends our wait for answers about what happened to Nothabo, Natalie and Nala.”
The family said it remained hopeful that the proceedings would continue through the appropriate legal channels without avoidable delays.
Tshuma previously abandoned his bail application in the illegal firearm possession matter.
The extradition proceedings are now expected to return to court on 10 September 2026.
Family Awaits Further Court Proceedings
The latest postponement means the families must wait until September for the next stages of the proceedings. Their statement indicates that they continue to place their trust in the judicial process while awaiting further developments.
