Former Orlando Pirates defender Olisa Ndah has shared an emotional farewell message. He posted it before starting what he called a new career chapter. Recently, Ndah ended his Buccaneers stay through a mutual agreement. He wants more game time, so he chose a fresh path. Ndah leaves after five seasons with the Soweto giants. He joined Pirates from Nigerian side Akwa United.
Training update and transfer talk
Recently, reports linked Ndah with Libyan club Al-Shomooa. However, his camp strongly denied that move. Instead, his representative, Mike Makaab, gave a clear update. He told FARPost that Ndah is training with Stellenbosch FC. That training now signals his next steps in South African football.
Ndah’s message that touched supporters
On Thursday, Ndah posted a heartfelt message on Instagram. He praised the club and its rich history. He also admitted Pirates will always hold his heart.
“Thank you to Orlando Pirates FC for the opportunity to wear the jersey and represent such a historic club with pride,” wrote Ndah.
“As I reflect on the past few years, l am filled with immense gratitude. From my first day to my last, this club has truly been home.
“We shared countless memories, celebrated incredible victories, faced setbacks that made us stronger, and put in tireless work day in and day out. I will forever cherish the highs we achieved together and the lessons that shaped me along the way,” he said.
A new chapter, but Pirates stays with him
Next, Ndah thanked the people who backed him throughout. He singled out chairman Dr Irvin Khoza and the staff. He also saluted supporters for their constant energy.
“A special thank you to chairman Dr Irvin Khoza, the coaching staff, management, and everyone behind the scenes for your trust and unwavering support.
To the Buccaneers supporters, your passion and loyalty never go unnoticed. I am deeply grateful for the love and energy you bring every single day,” he added.
Finally, he closed with a promise and a goodbye. He said part of him will always remain at Pirates.
“As I move on to a new chapter, a piece of my heart will always remain here. I wish the club continued success and greatness in the years ahead.”
