Derby Frustration for Pirates

A tough game against a very tough opponent. I mean the Soweto Derby is always difficult,” he said.

He stressed that the squad gave everything in search of victory and remains determined to fight for the title in the remaining fixtures.

“We tried everything we could. We tried creating chances, we tried defending and we also tried everything to score because we want to win the league.

“We went all out, so I think our best is always enough. We will go ahead and continue working.”

Title Race Still Alive

With the season entering its decisive phase, Pirates still have an outside chance of catching Sundowns at the top of the table.

For Mofokeng, balancing personal recognition with team ambitions will be key as he looks to cap off an impressive season with silverware.
