Police crack Indrive driver murder case after gruesome giscovery in Warren hills

Police in Harare have arrested a 28-year-old suspect in a shocking murder case in Warren Park D. The Zimbabwe Republic Police confirmed the arrest of Shepherd Severa in connection with the killing of Brian Nandana. Recovery of Vehicle and Breakthrough

Police recovered a blood-stained Toyota Aqua at Warren Hills Cemetery on 19 May 2026 around 0400 hours. The vehicle, registration number AGO 2804, became a key lead in the murder investigation. Investigators immediately intensified efforts after discovering blood evidence inside the car.

Forensic teams also collected additional samples for laboratory analysis from the vehicle. Detectives believe the evidence strongly links the suspect to the scene of crime. Police maintained surveillance operations in surrounding areas during the early morning hours.

Confession and Gruesome Discovery

Police later arrested Severa after investigations led them directly to the suspect. He allegedly confessed to killing his friend Brian Nandana using a kitchen knife.
