The mystery surrounding the sudden death of South African actor Presley Chweneyagae has finally been cleared up. His family has broken their silence — and they insist there’s no foul play involved as they revealed his cause of death.
“We just want to clear the air that it’s a natural death,” said family spokesperson Mzwakhe Sigudla in an emotional interview with Kaya News on Wednesday, 28 May 2025.
“He was attended to… and unfortunately, he couldn’t make it.”
Trouble breathing sparked panic at home
According to the family, the actor began experiencing breathing difficulties at home. It was so sudden, paramedics had to be rushed to the scene.
“He had a complication in relation to breathing,” said Sigudla. “Paramedics were called and responded swiftly. We’re thankful for how professionally they handled everything — but he didn’t make it.”
