Scott Sakupwanya Hands Kwekwe United US$100 000 Cash, Vehicles and Team Bus in Sponsorship Package
Kwekwe United Football Club has received a major financial boost after securing a US$100 000 cash sponsorship package from Scott Sakupwanya, through his company Betterbrands.
The deal expected to strengthen the club’s preparations for the upcoming 2026 Central Region Soccer League campaign.
The sponsorship was officially announced during a colourful ceremony held at the Zhongjin International Hotel in Redcliff, where the club also unveiled its new playing kit for the season.

Cash Injection for Kwekwe United Club Operations
As part of the partnership, Betterbrands presented Kwekwe United with US$100 000 in cash, marking one of the club’s most significant sponsorship deals in recent years.
The funds were formally handed over by Scottland FC board member Musa Gwasira during the unveiling ceremony.
Club officials believe the financial support will play a crucial role in supporting team operations, strengthening preparations and improving the club’s competitiveness in the Central Region Soccer League.
Additional Support Through Vehicles and Team Bus
Beyond the cash injection, the sponsorship package also includes key logistical support aimed at improving the team’s mobility.
Kwekwe United is expected to receive three top-of-the-range vehicles and a new team bus, with deliveries scheduled over the coming days. One vehicle designated for the head coach is set to be delivered shortly, while the team bus is expected to be handed over early next week.
Club executives said the vehicles would help ease transport challenges and support the club’s day-to-day activities.
Club Leadership Welcomes Sponsorship
Kwekwe United president Bridgette Mudhosi, who led the club’s executive during the event, expressed appreciation for the support extended to the team.
She said the partnership with Betterbrands would help strengthen the club’s ambitions as it continues building a competitive side for the 2026 campaign.
The sponsorship deal is expected to provide both financial stability and logistical support as Kwekwe United looks to make a strong impression in the Central Region Soccer League.
