Shebeshxt Arrested in Limpopo for Attempted Murder After Road Rage Shooting

Limpopo artist Shebeshxt, real name Lehlogonolo Katlego Chauke, has been arrested in connection with a shooting incident that left one person critically injured.

Arrest Confirmed by Limpopo Police

Police in Limpopo confirmed that the Lekompo hitmaker was arrested during an intelligence-driven operation conducted in Bendor, Polokwane, on Wednesday morning around 9:30am.

The arrest follows an alleged road rage incident that took place on Sunday, 19 October 2025, along Witklip Street in Ladanna, outside Polokwane.

Incident Details

According to police reports, the 30-year-old musician was involved in a confrontation with another motorist. During the altercation, Shebeshxt allegedly fired several shots at the other vehicle, injuring a 34-year-old male occupant.

The victim was rushed to a local hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

Court Appearance Expected

Police spokespersons confirmed that Shebeshxt has been charged with attempted murder. He is expected to appear before the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court on Thursday, 13 November 2025, to face the charge.
