The City of Harare has confirmed the deaths of three municipal employees following a tragic incident at the Morton Jaffray Water Works near Norton on Thursday morning.

In an official statement, the City of Harare said initial reports suggest the employees were working on a decommissioned clarifier when the fatal incident occurred. The council has not yet released the identities of the deceased.

“Following up on the statement we issued regarding the unfortunate loss of two employees at Morton Jaffray Water Works this morning, we regret to inform residents that a third employee was pronounced dead on arrival at hospital.”

Council Sends Condolences, Assures Water Supply Not Affected
