The ZRP stated the event took place at a house along Cleverland Road in Greendale. The victims were aged just 13 and 11 years old.

The police force’s official social media account posted the details on Sunday, December 14th. The post reads:

The ZRP reports a sad incident in which two juveniles aged 13 and 11 drowned in a pool while swimming at a house along Cleverland Road, Greendale, Harare on 13/12/25. The bodies of the victims were taken to Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals for post mortem.

Authorities have not released the names of the children, pending notification of their families. The circumstances leading up to their discovery in the pool remain under investigation.
