Wicknell Chivayo has made another major gesture to members of his church family. The businessman says he has bought 15 brand-new Toyota Fortuners for dedicated church members. Chivayo announced the surprise on Friday through a message celebrating their commitment and service.
According to Chivayo, the vehicles cost a combined US$1.2 million. He also promised each recipient US$5,000 in cash as an appreciation gift. The beneficiaries come from Murehwa, Negomo and Domboshava.
15 Church Members Receive Brand-New Cars
Chivayo named all 15 beneficiaries in his announcement. They include BaFedhas Nyakudya, BaWashington Ngomakurira and BaFunny Chonyera Jecha.
BaLot Chitate Garimo and Tineyi Munetsi Nyakudya were also selected from Domboshava.
The Chiweshe group includes BaJohn Chigwada Negomo and BaPeter Dambo Dambo.
BaBensen Renjiwero, BaTichafa Mutsamvi and BaWilson Jenami Negomo complete that group.
Meanwhile, Murehwa beneficiaries include Mai Koti Muhacha and Baba Gilbert Goshen.
BaVictor Rukungawo, BaEnstay Mutedza and BaForward Ministry also received vehicles.
Chivayo said the recipients could collect their vehicles on Wednesday.
He directed them to collect the Toyota Fortuners from Enterprise Car Sales.
The announcement quickly highlighted the scale of his latest church-related gesture.
Chivayo Praises Their Commitment
Chivayo said the recipients had remained committed to the church and its teachings.
He also praised their faithful service and continued dedication.
Furthermore, he described the vehicles as a reward for their commitment.
Each beneficiary will reportedly receive US$5,000 alongside their new vehicle.
That means the additional cash gifts amount to US$75,000 altogether.
Chivayo also encouraged the wider church family to embrace love and unity.
He called for humility, faith and continued service to God.
The businessman ended his message by congratulating the 15 beneficiaries.
