‘You Truly Deserve It’: Wicknell Chivayo Gifts Bishop Sydney Mabhiza Brand-New Toyota Land Cruiser
Businessman Wicknell Chivayo has gifted St John Apostolic Church Bishop Dr Sydney Mabhiza a brand-new Toyota Land Cruiser 300 Series ZX.
Chivayo announced the gift in a lengthy Facebook post. He praised Mabhiza for his years of service and leadership within the church.
The businessman said US$180,000 had already been paid in full for the luxury vehicle.
He also gifted the bishop a US$20,000 cash allowance for fuel.

Chivayo praises Mabhiza’s church leadership
Chivayo described Mabhiza as an exceptional and long-standing leader who had remained committed to Christian principles.
He said the bishop had led the church with wisdom, discipline and humility.
Chivayo also praised Mabhiza for preserving the church’s values while encouraging believers to remain prayerful, disciplined and united.
“What I particularly admire is the DIGNITY, MATURITY AND CONSISTENCY with which you have carried your responsibility. True leadership is not measured by noise or popularity, but by the lives you positively influence and the people you continuously bring closer to GOD. Continue being a father to your congregants, continue preaching LOVE and UNITY, and continue reminding our people that whatever positions we occupy in life, GOD MUST ALWAYS COME FIRST. 
He said church leaders were expected to provide direction, encouragement and an example to their congregants.
According to Chivayo, Mabhiza’s leadership should be measured by the positive impact he has had on people.
He urged the bishop to continue promoting love, unity and putting God first.
Luxury vehicle ready for collection
Chivayo said the Toyota Land Cruiser was ready for Mabhiza to collect.
He instructed the bishop to contact Madzibaba Owen, who would accompany him to see Madzibaba Chipaga on Thursday morning.
The vehicle is a 2026 Toyota Land Cruiser 300 Series ZX.
Chivayo said the US$180,000 purchase price had been settled in full.
In addition to the vehicle, Mabhiza will receive US$20,000 in petty cash for fuel.
Chivayo said the money would ensure the vehicle could immediately be used for church-related work.
“Your car is ready for collection,” he wrote, congratulating the bishop on the gift.
Chivayo highlights church unity
Chivayo also used his message to highlight the importance of unity among Christian denominations.
He thanked Mabhiza for attending the annual Musangano Wegore.
According to Chivayo, the bishop’s attendance demonstrated that Christians can remain united despite worshipping under different church names and following different traditions.
He said churches should avoid unnecessary competition because they ultimately serve the same God.
Chivayo described Mabhiza’s attendance as a sign of Christian brotherhood, mutual respect and unity.
He argued that cooperation among church leaders could strengthen Christianity and encourage believers to focus on common values rather than divisions.
‘Continue putting God first’
Chivayo concluded by wishing Mabhiza many more years of wisdom and fruitful leadership.
He prayed for the bishop’s continued strength and protection as he leads the St John Apostolic Church.
