Wicknell Chivayo Pledges US$50,000 Per CAF Win And US$500,000 If Scottland FC Retain PSL Title
Scottland FC players have been handed a major financial incentive ahead of their first CAF Champions League campaign.
Club sponsor Wicknell Chivayo has promised the players US$50,000 for every victory they secure in the continental competition.
He also announced a far bigger reward for domestic success, offering US$500,000 if Scottland successfully defend their Premier Soccer League championship.

Huge Incentive Ahead Of Continental Debut
The promises were announced during a gala dinner held for the Zimbabwean champions.
Scottland will begin their CAF Champions League journey against Eswatini champions Nsingizini Hotspurs.
The first-leg encounter is scheduled for Sunday, 6 September, at the National Sports Stadium in Harare.
The Zimbabwean side will then travel to Eswatini for the second leg.
The return fixture is expected to take place between September 11 and 13.
The financial incentives add another layer of motivation for Scottland as they begin their bid to make an impact on the continental stage.
US$100,000 Reward After FC Platinum Draw
The players have already received a substantial payout this week following their latest league performance.
Scottland president Pedzai “Scott” Sakupwanya reportedly handed the squad US$100,000 after their 0-0 draw against FC Platinum on Wednesday.
The Matchday 28 encounter ended without either side finding the breakthrough.
FC Platinum goalkeeper Manfred Ekoi produced several important saves during the match.
His performance earned him the Man of the Match award.
Scottland Chase Domestic And Continental Success
Scottland are balancing their continental ambitions with the challenge of defending their PSL crown.
Chivayo’s latest pledge could therefore provide an added incentive as the club targets success on both fronts.
The immediate focus, however, is Sunday’s meeting with Nsingizini Hotspurs.
Scottland will be hoping to secure an advantage in Harare before the decisive return leg in Eswatini.
