Warriors’ Painful Run of Form
The national team’s struggles have continued, with only one win recorded in their last ten outings.
Their poor campaign in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers has been particularly damaging — Zimbabwe was eliminated without a single victory, despite still having two fixtures left to play.
Disappointment has boiled over into the stands, where frustrated fans have openly demanded sweeping changes, particularly targeting the technical bench.
Nqobile Magwizi’s Message to Supporters
Speaking at a press briefing on Tuesday, Magwizi acknowledged the concerns but cautioned against divisions within the football family.
“To our fans, we say: your passion is not taken for granted. We hear you. We respect you. We ask you to stand with us and with the Warriors. Division will not take us forward — unity, patience, and collective effort will.
“Zimbabwean football has risen before, and it will rise again. With unity, discipline, and belief, we shall restore the pride of our game.”
