Zimbabwe to Host India for T20I Series in Harare This July
Zimbabwe will welcome cricket giants India national cricket team for a three-match T20 International series in Harare this July, Zimbabwe Cricket has confirmed.
The series marks India’s return to Zimbabwe just a year after their last visit in July 2024, when the two sides faced off in a five-match T20I contest.

Harare to Stage All Matches
All three fixtures will be played at Harare Sports Club, with matches scheduled for July 23, 25 and 26.
Each game is set to begin at 1pm local time, giving local fans a chance to watch top-level international cricket on home soil.
Chance to Test Against World Champions
ZC managing director Givemore Makoni described the upcoming series as a major opportunity for Zimbabwe’s players to measure themselves against one of the world’s strongest teams.
He noted that matches against India consistently attract huge interest and said the series would provide a valuable platform for Zimbabwe to build on recent encouraging performances at global tournaments.
Recent Encounters Favour India
The two teams last met during the Super Eight stage of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, where India secured a dominant victory after posting an imposing total.
Zimbabwe Tour of India Also Confirmed
In addition to the July series, Zimbabwe is also set to tour India for a three-match One Day International series in January 2027. It will be their first bilateral tour to India in over two decades.
Makoni described the upcoming tour as a significant milestone, highlighting its importance in strengthening cricketing ties between the two nations while giving Zimbabwean players exposure to one of the sport’s biggest stages.

The back-to-back tours are expected to deepen relations between the two countries and provide Zimbabwe with valuable experience against elite opposition as they continue to rebuild as a competitive force in international cricket.
