Five people are feared dead following a head-on collision at a black spot in Ngundu along the Ngundu-Tanganda Highway on Thursday night, 20 August 2026, just a day after churches held cleansing prayers in the area.
Several other people reportedly suffered broken limbs in the crash, which involved a lorry and a Toyota Box operating locally.
The Mirror Masvingo reported the accident, citing sources close to the incident.
“5 people are believed to have died and several others suffered broken limbs.”
The publication also reported that the driver of the Toyota Box was among those suspected to have died.
Ngundu-Tanganda Highway Crash
