THE Higher Education Examinations Council (HEXCO) has released the 2025 results

The Higher Education Examinations Council (HEXCO) has released the November/December 2025 results. The national pass rate stands at 70 percent.

Professor Fanuel Tagwira confirmed the results are ready for collection nationwide. He issued the update through an official statement.

Tagwira credits stakeholders for the 70% pass rate

Professor Tagwira thanked everyone who supported the examinations. He praised officials, institutions, and partners for working together. He said their coordination strengthened the national assessment process.

He also said the results show progress in technical education. This progress supports vocational and industrial training outcomes.

“The Permanent Secretary for Higher and Tertiary Education, Innovation, Science and Technology Development, Professor Tagwira hereby announces release of the Higher Education Examinations Council (HEXCO) National Examinations for the November/December 2025 examination session. He wishes to thank all stakeholders involved in the national examinations process. Their contribution towards the success of the examinations has resulted in the achievement of a 70 % pass rate,” he said.

When and where candidates can collect results

Candidates should collect results from their regional centres. Collection starts on Friday, 21 January 2026.

HEXCO runs national exams for technical and vocational programmes. These programmes support skills development and workforce readiness in Zimbabwe.
