Former Highlanders midfielder McKinnon Mushore has thanked Bosso’s massive support base. He said the fans helped grow his football career.
Mushore has now joined Zvishavane-based FC Platinum. Joel “Dubai” Luphahla is guiding the club. FC Platinum recently parted ways with Norman Mapeza. Mapeza has now joined defending league champions Scottland FC.
His message to Highlanders leadership
Mushore confirmed his departure in a detailed statement. He praised the club’s management and technical team. He also highlighted the fans’ role in his progress. “Dear Highlanders Football Club management, technical team and the huge support base (the fans). It is with great pleasure to announce my departure from the big and respectable club, Highlanders Football Club. Thank you for the opportunity that you gave me from junior policy (Bosso 90) up to the senior team, the faith you had in me in granting that opportunity up to this moment when I’m parting ways with the club. My skills improved under your leadership and your support is greatly appreciated in many ways I can’t express.”
Gratitude to the Bosso faithful
He then spoke directly to the Bosso fans. He thanked them for consistent support and belief. He said their energy gave him courage and confidence. He also recalled special moments at Barbourfields Stadium. He urged fans to support other players in the same journey. He added: “To the lovely and amazing Bosso fans that never disappoint, I am very grateful for your immeasurable support, passion and belief in me. Your unwavering support gave me courage, confidence and beautiful memories at Barbourfields Stadium. You are greatly appreciated. May it not end with me but also with others in this journey of football. I love and appreciate you greatly.”
