Woman Collapses and Dies at Inter Africa Offices in Bulawayo
A routine day at a Bulawayo bus terminus ended in tragedy on Tuesday when an unidentified woman suddenly collapsed and died inside the offices of Inter Africa Bus Company in the city centre.
The incident occurred at the company’s premises situated at the corner of George Silundika Street and 4th Avenue, drawing the attention of employees and members of the public.

Woman Had Just Arrived on a Bus
According to an employee at the transport company, the woman had only moments earlier disembarked from one of the company’s buses before walking into the offices.
Staff members said they were unaware of the purpose of her visit when she unexpectedly collapsed.
“We do not know what service she had come to seek in the office. Unfortunately, she suddenly collapsed and was later confirmed dead. Police attended the scene and took away the body,” the employee said.
Police Yet to Establish Identity
Authorities have not yet identified the deceased, and efforts are underway to establish her identity and notify her next of kin.
Police also removed the body from the scene for further examination as part of ongoing investigations into the circumstances surrounding the sudden death.
Investigations Continue
The cause of the woman’s collapse has not yet been established, and police are expected to determine whether a post-mortem examination will be conducted.
More details are expected to emerge once investigations are complete and the deceased has been formally identified.
