FC Platinum Fires Joel Luphahla, Appoints South African Coach Thabo Senong As New Head Coach
FC Platinum have parted ways with head coach Joel Luphahla and appointed Thabo Senong as his replacement in a major technical team shake-up.
The Zvishavane-based club confirmed that Luphahla and members of his technical staff had left the team following a mutual agreement.
Senong’s appointment is subject to the completion of contractual and registration formalities.

Club Thanks Luphahla For His Service
In a statement, FC Platinum expressed gratitude to Luphahla and his technical team for their contribution to the club.
“FC Platinum has mutually parted ways with Head Coach Joel Luphahla and members of his technical staff,” the club said.
The club thanked the outgoing coach for his dedication and hard work, wishing him success in his future endeavours.

Senong Begins New Chapter At FC Platinum
FC Platinum welcomed Senong as the club’s new head coach, saying they were looking forward to a new era under his leadership.
The appointment marks a new direction for the platinum miners as they seek to strengthen their technical setup.
Senong brings experience from South African football, having previously worked in development football and coaching roles, including with the South Africa Under-20 national team.
Interim Coaches To Lead Training
While the club finalises Senong’s appointment, coaches Moses Mwafulira and Alexio Sigion will oversee training sessions and team preparations.
FC Platinum thanked its supporters, sponsors and stakeholders for their continued backing as the club begins the transition.
The club said it was excited about the future under Senong’s leadership and the next chapter in its journey.
