Highlanders FC have received a timely vote of confidence after Trendy Three Investments donated US$3,000 to the club’s playing squad.

Company Backs Bosso’s Legacy
Trendy Three Investments said supporting Highlanders was a way of investing in one of Zimbabwe’s most successful and widely supported football clubs.
Company representative Bongani Nyathi said the donation was meant to encourage the players to remain focused despite the club’s off-field challenges.
“Highlanders is one of the biggest football clubs in the country, with a proud history and a passionate fan base. As Trendy Three Investments, we felt it was important to encourage the players during this challenging period. We hope this donation inspires them to remain focused, work hard and continue giving their best on the field,” he said.
Nyathi added that the company believes sport plays an important role in strengthening communities and said it intends to continue supporting initiatives that make a positive difference.
Club Hails Corporate Support
Acting Highlanders chairman Kindman Ndlovu described the contribution as a significant boost, saying it had arrived when the club needed it most.
“We are sincerely grateful to Trendy Three Investments for this generous donation to our players. The support comes at a time when the club is facing financial challenges, and it will go a long way in motivating the team. It is encouraging to know that there are companies willing to stand with Highlanders during difficult times,” said Ndlovu.
Ndlovu said football clubs cannot survive without strong backing from the private sector and appealed for more businesses to support the local game.
“We hope this gesture inspires other corporates to come on board and support Highlanders as well as Zimbabwean football in general. Football cannot thrive without the backing of the business community, and every contribution makes a difference,” he said.
Players Welcome The Gesture
Highlanders captain Darlington Munkuli thanked the company for recognising the team’s efforts and standing with the players.
“We really appreciate the gesture. We feel honoured to be supported. IBosso YiBosso,” said Munkuli.
The donation provides Bosso with a morale boost as they prepare for a demanding away fixture against CAPS United, with the club hoping the support translates into improved performances on the pitch.
